When the Homicide team investigates a blood-soaked crime scene, the pressure is on to find a missing and badly injured bartender. Sergeant Cross s Detective Flynn on the case, which gives her a twinge of guilt for leaving her trusted partner Vega out of the action.

Flynn and Vega are pulled away from Vega’s fathers wedding to investigate a skydiving jump gone wrong. While working the case, Angie makes an effort to regain Vega’s trust by sharing a sensitive file that contains information on Sgt. Cross.

A man is trampled by his own horse, and the detectives suspect that the death was a homicide. Meanwhile, Vega discusses his concerns about the League of Nations Trial with Sgt. Cross; and Angie has a confrontation with prosecutor Samantha Turner.
11. A Bullet for Joey
An investigation into the death of a successful real-estate agent grows complicated when the primary suspect's family get involved. Meanwhile, Angie tells prosecutor Samantha Turner that she won't testify during Cross' trial.
12. Kiss of Death
A bestselling mystery author is murdered. Meanwhile, Det. Lucas' personal life suffers; and Angie receives a welcome surprise.
13. For You I Die
A case from Cross and Flynn's past reemerges and causes distress for both of them, making Flynn realize they have to be honest about their history.
